What are your hours of operation?

What time should I expect my newspaper to arrive?
Joplin area home delivery subscribers will receive their newspaper by 6:30 a.m. on Monday through Saturday and 7:00 a.m. on Sundays and holidays. Home delivery customers in rural areas outside of the immediate Joplin area may experience later delivery times. Adverse weather and production delays may also affect delivery times.

What if I have questions about my subscription invoice or account?
Please contact Subscriber Services by email at subscribe@joplinglobe.com or call 417.782.2626 or 800.444.8514. A Subscriber Services representative will assist you with billing and account questions.

Why is my newspaper late?
Your newspaper may be late for a variety of reasons. By emailing or calling Subscriber Services with your service inquiry, you help us to better serve you in the future. Production problems and inclement weather are the most common reasons for delays. There is also the possibility that your carrier may have missed delivering to your home. If you think that this has happened, please submit an online service error form or call Subscriber Services. In most cases, we will redeliver a paper to your home. If we are unable to redeliver, we will extend your account for the missed delivery and send notice to your carrier.

How can I temporarily stop my delivery while I am out of town or on vacation?

How can I get the lowest home delivery rate possible?
To receive the lowest rate possible, choose one full year of service paid in advance. The longer the term of your prepaid subscription, the better the value. Please click here to view your subscription options.

What is Easy Pay?
Easy Pay is a convenient way for you to manage your Joplin Globe subscription. Through Easy Pay, your payment can be deducted from your credit card, debit card, checking account, or savings account on or about the 5th of each month. Currently, when you sign up for Easy Pay, you receive one free month of delivery. If you are a current subscriber and would like to take advantage of this offer, please call Subscriber Services at 417.782.2626 to switch to Easy Pay. How do I place ads in your publications?
The Joplin Globe offers a variety of advertising packages to help bring your business profitable results. For the most efficient use of your advertising dollars, please call the advertising department at 417.627.7214 or 800.444.8514, ext. 7214 and an advertising consultant will assist you.

Classified ads can now be placed online or you may call 417.781.5500 or 800.444.8514 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and a customer service representative will assist you.

How do I submit a birth, engagement, wedding, or anniversary announcement?
You may submit your birth, engagement, wedding, or anniversary announcement online or pick up a form at The Joplin Globe, 114 East 4th Street, Joplin, MO 64801. You may also mail your information to the above address, attention Special Services. Please include a daytime telephone number if information is mailed.

How do I submit a story idea, letter to the editor, or a comment?
The Joplin Globe welcomes information about news events or persons involved in newsworthy activities. When you have information about something newsworthy, you may email, call, or write the Joplin Globe in care of the Newsroom. Email us. How do I submit club happenings and reunions?
Club happenings and reunions run every Thursday. Information with a contact phone number must be received by Monday prior to Thursday’s publication.

How do I submit a death notice or memorial?
Death notices and memorials may be placed Monday through Friday from noon to 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Personal assistance is available in our Special Services department, 417.623.3480 or 800.444.8514, ext. 7424.

How do I purchase back issues of The Joplin Globe?
Back issues (while supplies last) can be purchased for up to one year after publication. Daily back issues can be purchased for 50 cents, Sunday issues for $1.50. Please contact Subscriber Services at 417.782.2626 or 800.444.8514.

How do I submit a correction to a newspaper story I’ve read?
If you see an error in a news story, we would appreciate your call to give us the correct information. Contact the Newsroom at 417.623.3480 or 800.444.8514, ext. 7273.

Can I purchase photographs that I’ve seen published in the newspaper?
Yes! Photos taken by Joplin Globe photographers that have appeared in the paper, as well as some that were not published, may be purchased for personal use only; they may not be reproduced or published. Prices vary by size. The Joplin Globe cannot provide reprints of Associated Press photos. You can order reprints, t-shirts, cups and a variety of other products at our online gallery.

May I schedule a tour of your facility?
The Joplin Globe offers group tours during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Tours are by appointment only and may be scheduled by contacting 417.623.3480 or 800.444.8514, ext. 7288 or ext. 7301.
