Marian Kelly has been a professional standup comic since 1988. She has appeared on network television programs, including “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.” In 2002 she made a career-altering decision: that she never cared to see the inside of a smoke-filled comedy club again.
The years since then have caused an unplanned identity crisis: Should she stick with comedy, doing only corporate and cruise ship work, or branch out into other areas (including motivational speaking, and writing a column for the Joplin Globe) and eventually leave the exhaustion of touring behind? Stay tuned.
Marian grew up in, swore she would never again reside in, and now owns a home in, Seneca, Missouri.
