Abby Leigh Haralson and John Marc Hubbard were pronounced husband and wife on May 30, 2009, by the bride’s uncle, the Rev. Brent Bland, at First United Methodist Church in Joplin, Mo.
The wedding party included Monica Gilbreth, matron of honor and Eric Vest, best man. The bridesmaids were Allison Roffers, Joylyn Sharp, Becky Scimeca and Jenny Watts, all friends of the bride. The groomsmen were Adam Barron, friend of the groom, Sean Hubbard and Brad Hubbard, brothers of the groom and Brandon Haralson, brother of the bride.

Carrie is the daughter of David and Iva Geiger, of Allen, Neb., and Doug is the son of Marty Wright of Carthage, Mo. Grandparents of the bride are Myron Sr. and the late Julia Osbahr and Iola and the late Jim Geiger, of Allen. Grandparents of the groom are Mary Emily and the late Sam Rutledge, of Shelbyville, Ky., and the late Sanford and Flora Roberts, of Simpsonville, Ky.
The spring ceremony was held at the groom’s estate in Carthage, with Ron Crow officiating. The bride wore a silk, hand-beaded gown and cathedral-length veil.
Matron of honor was Katie Dixon and best man was Jeff Geiger. Ushers were Tom Geiger, B.J. Gotch, Jonathan Roberts and Josh Roberts. Personal attendant to the bride was Sara Gotch. Ring bearer was Bryce Dixon and Mallory Geiger was the flower girl. Cody and MacKenzie Yarick were the candle lighters. Guests enjoyed the music of a string quartet and horse-drawn carriage rides.
A reception and dance followed. In February the couple honeymooned in Hawaii. The couple will celebrate their first anniversary this Memorial Day.

The best men were Brandon Tate, brother of the groom, and Tyler Pastuasak, friend of the groom, both of Joplin. The ring bearer was Braxton Tate, nephew of the groom, of Parsons, Kan.
The ushers were Matthew Datum, brother of the bride, of Santa Clara, Calif., and George Datum, brother of the bride, of Joplin. The program attendant was Rachel Datum, sister of the bride, of Joplin.
The bride’s dress was a diamond white strapless semi-fitted A-line corset back gown. Romantic lace covered with Swarovski crystals, iridescent pearl beads with detailed silver threading, over a satin gown featuring a gentle side pleated detailing. The skirt lace overlay fell in a delicate circular shape. The bride carried two dozen black baccara roses surrounded by eucalyptus leaves hand tied with black translucent ribbon. Tucked in her bouquet was her great-grandmother’s handkerchief. The bride also wore on her right hand the groom's great-great-grandmother's wedding ring.
After the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Kitchen Pass Restaurant in Joplin.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii on the island of Kauai for 10 days. The couple now reside in Joplin.

Thatcher’s mother is the daughter of the late Terry Lee Wheeler and niece of Chuck and Cindy Wheeler and Mike Wheeler, all of Carl Junction.
Thatcher’s father is the son of Harvey and Sharol Stein, of Joplin, and Peter Girouard, of Providence, R.I.
This happily united family will be making their home in the St. Louis, Mo., area shortly after the wedding.

JoAnn is executive director of the Rutland Economic Development Corporation in Rutland, Vt. Jim is the head men’s basketball and baseball coach for the College of St. Joseph of Vermont in Rutland.

Mariam Adele Stone and Bryan John Hopkins were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, in Stone Chapel at five o’clock in the evening in Springfield, Mo.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory silk satin gown by Reem Acra embellished with gold embroidery, pearls and crystals. The bride carried a bouquet composed of white orchids, calla lilies and snow berries. The music of a string quartet and trumpet highlighted the traditional ceremony.
The matron of honor and best friend of the bride, Whitney Dodson, and bridesmaid and sister of the groom, Michelle Hopkins, wore black dresses and carried bouquets of orchids, chocolate cosmos and fiddlehead fern. Whitney’s daughter, Kathryn Dodson, served as flower girl.
Jeff Pino served as the best man and David Spencer as the groomsman. They are both college friends of the groom. Ringbearers were Nicholas and Mitchell Schultz, cousins of the bride, and James Stone, brother of the bride, served as usher.
Following the ceremony, friends and family joined the couple at the Tower Club for a dinner and dance reception.
The bride is the daughter of Mary Ann Stone, of Webb City, and Jim Stone, of Joplin, and granddaughter of Delvene Stone and Marion McFall, of Springfield. Jennifer and Brett honeymooned in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. They make their home in Overland Park, Kan., where she is employed as a marketing writer for Archer Technologies and he is employed as a client services engineer for iModules Software.

Mrs. Dvali is a 1995 Carl Junction High School graduate. She received her doctorate in pediatric behavioral medicine this year from the University of North Texas. She is a pediatric resident at IWK Children’s Hospital, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Mr. Dvali is a 1989 graduate of Sherwood Secondary School in Hamilton and a 1999 graduate of McMaster University, where he received a MS in computer science. He is a business systems analyst at Saudi Aramco in Houston.

On a unbelievably beautiful day, Jan. 7, 2006, Mandy Sue Lock married Dustin Thomas Moyer.
The bride is the daughter of Brent and LuAnn Lock, of Lamar, Mo., and the groom is the son of Dr. Jeffery and Jane Moyer, also of Lamar. Grandparents of the bride are Eula and Manford Lock, of Kaufman, Texas, Robert Haile, of Lamar, and Dora Lee Haile, of Lamar. Grandparents of the groom are Genora Campbell and the late Grady Campbell, of Jasper, Mo., and Treva Moyer and the late Rev. Orland Moyer, of Lamar.
The couple were wed at 4:00 in the afternoon at the Lamar United Methodist Church, Lamar, by the Rev. Thomas Sullenger. The candlelight wedding had a winter wonderland theme with red as an accent color.
The matron of honor was the bride’s twin sister, Brandy Sweeney, of Bloomington, Ill., and the best man was the groom’s brother, Michael Moyer, of Fayetteville, Ark.
As the organist, Judy Daniel, of Lamar, played a list of traditional wedding music the parents and grandparents were seated by the ushers, Ryan Lock, brother of the bride, Tim Sweeney, brother-in-law of the bride, Jacob Cleveland, cousin of the groom, and Trevor Belline, friend of the groom. A duet consisting of Cindy Thieman and Richard Johnson, close friends of the bride and groom’s families, sang two songs, “When God made You” and “The Parents Prayer.”
After the ceremony the bride and groom made their way from the church through a stream of bubbles to a pink and white restored 1956 Cadillac Sedan Seville, owned by Sharla Calton, of Lamar, and chauffeured by Brian Brewer, who restored the vehicle. Family and guests then made their way to Memorial Hall for a dinner, dance and reception.
The couple plan on a trip to Jamaica for a honeymoon in the fall.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance, from Robert Morris College in Springfield, Ill. Mandy is employed by the University of Missouri and is currently working toward her master’s degree. The groom has his bachelor’s degree in communications from Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., and has completed the MU-Law Enforcement Training Institute at the University of Missouri. Dustin is currently employed with the Columbia Police Department.

Ragon Nikole Crockett and Brian James Evans were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista, Ark. Rev. Hal Bass officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Carl and Dana Timm, of Joplin, and Steve Crockett, of Oronogo, Mo. The groom is the son of Dr. Stephen and Sara Evans, of Bella Vista. The bride is the granddaughter of Carl and Caroline Hunt, of Glasgow, Ky., as well as Carrie and the late Gaylord Crockett, of Joplin. The groom is the grandson of Virginia and the late Buryll Rogers, of Independence, Mo., as well as the late James and Lorene Evans, of Independence.
Marady Murphy, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Shae Meyer, sister of the bride, Susan Tyree, Alicia Malcolm and Lindsay Hudson.
Brent Evans, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Aaron Meyer, brother-in-law of the bride, Chris Bolden, Shawn Dodd and David Gustaveson.
The flower girl was Savannah Gates, niece of the bride, and the ringbearer was Gaige Crockett, son of the bride. Attending the guest book was Briana Evans, niece of the groom. Guests were seated by Landon Bray, nephew of the bride. Jody Rogers assisted as the wedding coordinator and music was provided by Rob Murphy, brother-in-law of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at the Loch Lomond Yacht Club in Bella Vista with the band, Seeing Red, entertaining for the evening. Mrs. Lett is a 2001 graduate of Labette County High School, of Altamont. She graduated in May from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin with a degree in elementary education. She is a third-grade teacher for Webb City school district.
Mr. Lett graduated in 2001 from Joplin High School. He is a May graduate of MSSU with a degree in psychology. He is a photographer for Lett Photography LLC.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is at home in Joplin.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Sharon Hamlin, of Webb City, Mo., and the groom is the son of Judd and Kim Eidson, of Seneca, Mo.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless, corset-back satin white gown designed by Maggie Sottero. The dress had a sweetheart neckline with pearl accents and a couturier style skirt embellished with diamond shaped pearl motifs. She carried a full bouquet of pure white roses.

The ceremony was held April 3, 2004 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Cattau officiating. Kelly’s sister, Kim Priddy, was matron of honor and Robbie’s brother, Steve Radant, served as best man.

Kelly is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and is sales specialist at Hewlett Packard.
