Newspaper In Education, or NIE, is a Joplin Globe program that provides newspapers
to area classrooms to be used as an educational resource.

The mission of the NIE program is to encourage literacy, connect students to their communities, help them develop a global perspective, and provide educators with a
powerful teaching tool to support and enhance the curriculum.

From kindergarten through college, students of all ages benefit from NIE!
